Cancellation of existing physical Visas issued to Afgan nationals: To apply for fresh e-Emergency X-Misc Visa
In view of recent developments in Afghanistan, the Government of India has cancelled the existing physical visas issued to Afghan nationals.
Afghan nationals are advised to apply for fresh e-Emergency X-Misc visa on e-Visa Portal at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in 
.
The documents required are: (i) Passport (ii) National Identity Card (Tazkira) of Afghanistan (iii) any proof of residence in Afghanistan(optional) (iv) any proof of employment/occupation in Afghanistan (optional)
All Afghan nationals coming on e-Emergency X-Misc visa will have to mandatorily registrer with FRRO/FRO concerned within 7 days of arrival in India. In case they wish to move from their registered place of stay to another place, they will have to further register mandatorily with FRRO/FRO concerned at new place of residence.
